Florence has had the pleasure and privilege of helping countless couples resolve their differences and re-establish an emotional connection. Florence was originally trained by Glasgow Marriage Counselling Service, the sister company of RELATE, where she was selected to train with them in 1999 over a three-year period. Florence is passionate about her work and the changes she helps to facilitate.

With a wealth of knowledge and twenty-five years’ experience, she decided to expand our service provision in 2007 to include offering services to individual clients who would be aligned with individual counsellors and psychologists. Florence continues to work with a small group of couples in couple counselling.

She also runs and manages our exceptional private practice. The team consists of couple counsellors, individual counsellors, psychosexual counsellors, psychologists and coaches. More recently Florence designed a training program for individual counsellors who want to learn how to work with couples effectively.

Florence has very high standards for all the Nightingale practitioners which she continuously mentors. She selects them based on their training, qualifications, experience, warmth, sense of humour, and commitment to our profession. This ensures that we provide you with an exceptional and effective service. It is important to Florence that you feel you are in safe hands and your counselling experience is effective. She is always a point of contact for you should you need information or guidance.

Prior to counselling, Florence had a long and successful career working in Glasgow and London in a variety of large corporate organisations, both as an internal and external consultant. During this time, she gained expertise in coaching, training, NLP, consultancy and business development. Florence works with couples, individuals, and organisations in counselling, personal development, coaching, training and consultancy.
